Rediscover your strength.
Reclaim your life.
Healing mental health and addiction side by side.
Alcohol Addiction
Alcohol-related causes are among the leading preventable causes of death in the United States. Alcohol addiction does not discriminate—it affects people of all backgrounds and quietly weaves itself into every part of life, disrupting health, families, work, and relationships.
Left unaddressed, its impact can be profound. With understanding, evidence-based care, and the right support, recovery is possible—and lives can be restored.
Opioids carry a high risk for dependence, even when prescribed and taken as directed. For some individuals, use can quickly progress beyond medical need. In addition, prescription opioids are often misused or shared, increasing the risk of addiction, overdose, and serious harm.
With early intervention, education, and evidence-based treatment, individuals struggling with opioid use can find stability, safety, and a path toward lasting recovery.

Club Drug Addiction
Club drugs are substances often used in social settings such as concerts, nightclubs, and bars, particularly among young adults. Because these drugs frequently change names and are sometimes misrepresented, many people are unaware of what substances fall into this category or the risks they carry.
Use can quickly lead to physical harm, impaired judgment, and long-term consequences. With education, early intervention, and evidence-based treatment, individuals can regain stability and move toward recovery.
Mental Health Services
Mental health challenges often exist alongside substance use disorders and can both contribute to and result from addiction. At PRR, we provide comprehensive mental health services designed to support the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.
Our licensed clinicians offer individualized assessment, therapy, and ongoing support for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other co-occurring mental health concerns. Treatment is grounded in evidence-based practices and delivered in a compassionate, structured environment that promotes safety, stability, and self-awareness.
By addressing mental health and substance use together, we help individuals build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create a foundation for long-term recovery and emotional well-being.

Marcus Meyers studied photography and film at Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and continued his education at The University of Texas Health Science Center, Baylor College of Medicine, and The Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences. After relocating to Austin, Marc entered recovery in 1985 and went on to open a successful photography studio, working in portrait, wedding, and commercial advertising for many years. In 1999, he transitioned into the automotive industry, managing finance and insurance operations for several local dealerships.
Throughout his life, Marc’s constant—beyond his family—has been his commitment to recovery and service within the Austin 12-step community. He served on the Board of Directors of Austin Recovery from 2004 to 2008 and has been in active service for over 41 years. As a founding partner of Personal Responsibility Recovery, Marc helped shape the treatment facility's vision and assemble the team behind one of Texas’s leading substance use programs. Recognizing the need for accessible, high-quality treatment for all, he later founded PRRecovery. Marc remains deeply grateful to the staff and board as PRR enters its next chapter.

Nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, I couldn’t think of a better place to rediscover my recovery than Personal Responsible Recovery. The staff, most of whom are in recovery, take a deeply personal interest in your successful recovery journey. The curriculum is designed to maximize your receiving the necessary tools and their application in a professional manner so as not to lose your dignity. The staff to client ratio, off campus events, recreational opportunities, housing and the food service is amazing. I speak from experience when I say, if you are looking for a tremendous return on your investment…your life, then I highly recommend Personal Responsible Recovery! Hopefully you will add your name to Wall of Fame, as I did, upon successfully completing the program!

This is a WONDERFUL program of recovery, community, and family. My daughter completed a 28 day stay and her sunshine has returned. Her eyes and her mind are clear, and she was given a great foundation for starting life over. The staff members are professional, compassionate, and kind. Not to mention an absolutely beautiful ranch and facility. We visited weekly for family day, met with her counselor and was involved in setting her up for success. She worked a 12 Step program, and was guided down a path of reflection and inspiration in finding happiness and true potential. Marc and his team have been amazing and cannot thank them enough!
